Although BMI's focus is placing former-military job seekers into civilian roles, it is not a pre-requisite to have served in the military to work at our firm. Our clients value the mix of military background and client-side expertise that we bring to their recruiting and staffing initiatives. It is key, however, to have had previous experience in a sales role, and to bring a passion for what we do.
Position Description:
The BMI Account Representative position is a high-level Business to Business (B2B) sales role responsible for solving the recruiting challenges of Fortune 1000 clients. Most initial client development is done via phone as you establish client relationships and consult with employers. As your client base grows, a higher degree of face-to-face client interaction will occur via BMI hiring events and / or client visits. This position is ideal for individuals who are excited about the prospect of unlimited earning potential, pay-for-performance and helping employers hire military.
Extensive On-Boarding Program:
BMI dedicates four months of training time to new Account Representatives so they may learn the processes and methodologies of a successful BMI consultant.
The On-Boarding Program features extensive training and formal mentoring throughout the process. During this period, the compensation plan includes a base salary plus commission. You will attend a ConferenceHire® event, receive formal training, learn BMI's business model and cultivate your business development skills. In addition to this formal On-Boarding Program, you will also have at your disposal BMI’s proprietary Applicant Tracking System (ATS), our BMI-branded CRM tool, and in-depth web-based research tools.
